Web Site Promotions

Driving customers

Promoting your web site long term is one thing, but what happens when you want to draw attention to a short term option such as a sale or special offer? The answer is to do what we call an "On Site Promotion".

This is sometimes in the form of a special offers page that is updated with promotional details regularly. It can also take the form of banner, skyscraper or other on line advertisements on your site and on others that advertises a product or service in the short term.

We've all seen the adverts on web sites but do they work? Surprisingly, yes, as long as site content is relative and the ads are subtle. "In your face" adverts are good for ad banners etc. that will appear on other people's sites but if you're promoting your product or service on your site you'll want to draw attention to it in a less aggressive way.

We can help you with any campaign you'd like to run so just give Andy a ring and he'll discuss your options with you. We'll be able to point you in the right direction so you can gain maximum return on investment.

Clearly, this sort of thing works best on established sites that already have good traffic - if you're a new business then on site promotions have got to be linked to other methods of marketing to make any positive impact on your business.
