Domain Names
A domain name can make or break a web site. Keep a few things in mind:
- It shouldn't be too long.
- It shouldn't be easy to misspell.
- It should be easy to remember.
- It should be relative to your business.
- Sub domains as provided by some ISP's are not very attractive.
(e.g. www.mysite.myhost.com isn't as good as www.mysite.com) - Only use top level domains (TLD) that are relative to your region or service.
A TLD is similar to .com, .co.uk or .info, they are found at the end of your web address.
